Because of your generosity, a family in Ethiopia now has something life-changing: a safe, dignified home.
Meet Tamiru and his mother, Birtukan. Tamiru’s father passed away about four years ago due to an accident. Tamiru and his mother had land, but they did not have a home to keep them safe and protected.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Hawassa Hope community, they now have more than shelter. They have security, dignity, and a place where Tamiru can do his schoolwork. Birtukan can sleep well at night knowing her family is safe.
We were also able to purchase a bed, mattress, and blankets, and leave funds for additional household needs.
