We are so grateful to share an exciting update on our 10 Clean Water Projects in 2026 campaign.
Project 1 Complete: Kebele NOE, Bona
Because of your support, we’ve already fully funded and completed our first clean water project in Kebele NOE, Bona, Ethiopia.
This completed project will serve more than 3,500 people with safe, clean water. There is no other drinking source nearby, and this is a very busy gathering spot for the community.
More Progress: 6 Funded, 2 Underway
We’re also celebrating that 6 more projects have been completely funded, and work has begun on two of them.
Telamo, Shebedino
This site is in Telamo, Shebedino and is over 40 years old according to community elders. The water is now contaminated and needs to be rebuilt. Plans have been drawn up, and work will begin soon.
Bashiro, Bona
This site is in Bashiro, Bona and is over 30 years old. The water flowing is unclean and the project needs rebuilt.
Work has already begun on this site.
Where We’re At With Our Goal
Right now, we still need to fully fund 3 more clean water projects to reach our 10 projects in 2026 goal.
Each project is about $5,000 and brings clean, safe water to an entire community. That means thousands of people will be reached with a change that lasts.
