I get it.

Money is tight.

There are many voices shouting, emailing and pleading for your attention and your giving.

I feel it too. The needs feel endless and the ability to give isn’t.

Yet, I still ask.

Because they are worth it.

I am challenging myself in February and invite you to do it with me.

Instead of just writing a check or clicking on the donate button–I am challenging myself to either give up something (lunch out, Starbucks, that cute shirt etc etc) and instead give that amount to Ajuuja’s building fund.

This can be for a day, for a week or for the entire month of February. Every time you go to do something extra–think about donating that instead and say a little pray for the children and staff at the home at the same time.

Or you can challenge yourself to do something instead of doing without.

Great at photography? Offer a photo session and give that money. Can you restore furniture?  Make something beautiful and give all or a portion of those funds to Ajuuja’s Building Fund!

Either of these can not only bring clarity to our own hearts but also can be a great opportunity for our children to learn about abundance, need and generosity.

Be creative and think outside of the box! (I once funded a mission trip through dissection classes!)

We can all come together and give of ourselves for the children and families in Ethiopia that truly need our help. A new home will offer more children to receive the love and care needed to survive.

Join me?

These children are worth it. The ones who will be there this year that we don’t even know about yet are worth it.

Change lives with us and in the process learn more about His heart for the vulnerable as you draw close to His.

We’d love to hear from you if you are taking the challenge with us. We will be praying for you and we can share our stories with each other!
